Title Case rules
We capitalise every word except short articles, conjunctions and prepositions ("a", "and", "of", "to", "in"…) unless they start the title. Style guides (AP, Chicago, APA) differ slightly — adjust edge cases by hand.
Fixing CAPS LOCK accidents
Pasted a paragraph typed in caps? Choose Sentence case to restore normal capitalisation, then fix proper names manually.
For URLs, the URL Slug Generator also removes accents and stop words. To turn words into hashtags, use Text to Hashtags.
Frequently asked questions
How do I convert text to Title Case?
Paste your text. The Title Case result capitalises each important word and keeps short words like and, of and the in lowercase.
What is the difference between camelCase and PascalCase?
camelCase starts with a lowercase letter (coldBrew); PascalCase capitalises the first letter too (ColdBrew).
Which case should I use for URLs?
Lowercase kebab-case, with hyphens between words, for example /cold-brew-ratio.
Does it work with accented letters?
Yes. Upper and lower case conversion supports accented and non-Latin letters.
